The findings underscore what many in the sector already recognise: renewable technologies are not just viable &#8211; they\u2019re outcompeting fossil fuels on cost.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #37b492;\"><b>Key 2024 LCOE ranges for new projects with projections to 2045:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Agri-PV and onshore wind:<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 4\u20139 \u20accents\/kWh \u2192 projected 3.9\u20138 \u20accents\/kWh<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Offshore wind:<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 5.5\u201310.3 \u20accents\/kWh \u2192 projected 5.5\u201310.2 \u20accents\/kWh<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Gas turbines:<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 15\u201333 \u20accents\/kWh \u2192 projected 19\u201340 \u20accents\/kWh<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While renewables are already more affordable in many contexts, their costs are expected to remain stable or decline further.
