Albert joined Bax & Company in 2021 as a Future Mobility consultant, aiming to help cities and the private sector with the best ways to navigate transport digitalisation and societal challenges.
His expertise lies at the crossroads between urban economics, urban planning and transport modelling. He focuses on transport policy impact evaluation, the relationships between transportation and land use, the implementation of shared mobility services, its integration with public transit, with a special interest in the role of cars and parking in cities.
He holds a PhD and an MSc in Economics from the University of Barcelona, as well as an MSc and BSc in Civil Engineering from the UPC-BarcelonaTECH. Before joining Bax & Company, he developed his career as a project manager, transport consultant and researcher at the Technical University of Denmark, the Observatory for Public Policy Analysis at the University of Barcelona, the Center for Transport Innovation at the UPC-BarcelonaTECH; where he has participated in international projects, and published peer-reviewed scientific publications and book chapters.
When not playing with his kids, he likes to stay physically active – CrossFit and almost any water-related sport are his preferred activities. Albert speaks Catalan, Spanish, English, and has a very basic knowledge of Danish.
