Alexia joined Bax & Company in January 2022 as an EU Programmes consultant. Prior to this, she worked for more than four years at the Joint Secretariat of an Interreg programme, managing a portfolio of +35 approved projects, assessing application forms, reviewing project budgets and handling State aid cases.
Alexia started her professional career in the UK where she worked for a member-based organisation as an EU Project assistant and later, as a European adviser for an organisation supporting London boroughs and third sector organisations in accessing EU funds.
Alexia holds an M.A in European Politics and Public Affairs from Sciences-Po Strasbourg. During her studies, she also spent a year at Leeds University as an Erasmus student.
Away from her desk, Alexia likes cycling, hiking, listening to podcasts and keeping houseplants. She speaks French and English fluently and is taking Spanish classes to improve her level.
