Eva Loopik

Eva joined Bax & Company as a Mission-driven innovation consultant in September 2021. She is optimistic and solution-oriented and prefers working on issues where different disciplines come together, like climate adaptation and the energy transition.

Eva works for Bax & Company on various projects for governments and universities. She is involved in the KIA Social Profitability and works with Sluislab on the inclusive and sustainable development of the Amsterdam Sluis neighbourhood. For the European energy project STEPS, she is responsible for the communication activities. In addition to her work at Bax & Company, Eva spends one day a week at her National Energy Traineeship. With this traineeship, she is developing herself personally and professionally, learning more about the energy transition and building a network within the sector.

During her master’s in Industrial Ecology, Eva learned to integrate technological, environmental, and social scientific aspects and to approach (sustainability) issues systematically. Combining a bachelor’s in public administration and minors in sustainable development and entrepreneurship, Eva has a broad knowledge base. During her studies, she completed an internship at ASN Bank and carried out projects in Gambia and Lebanon. For her graduation thesis, she conducted research for the municipality of Leiden into effective policies for nature-inclusive and climate-adaptive building.

In her free time, Eva enjoys sailing, cycling, (mountain) walking, and playing hockey. She likes to be inspired by films, theatre, art, and music and therefore regularly visits concerts, museums, and the cinema.
