Zoë de Jonge

Innovation Consultant

Areas of work: Urban transitions, active mobility, nature-based solutions, inclusive stakeholder involvement, circular urban economies

Office: Barcelona

Languages spoken: Dutch, English, Spanish

Education: BA in Psychology and Sociology, MSc Environment and Resource Management (with a focus on Water Mangement).

Previous work experience: I have grown and led an international partnership (We Are Tomorrow Global Partnership) advocating for youth participation in climate decision-making, with a focus on climate and environmental justice. In addition, I have worked as a trainings-coordinator for intercultural communications trainings at Language Partners.

At the weekend: I’m exploring Cataluña’s beaches and mountains, and doing many different sports.

An idea that powers me: Creating and supporting initiatives for green, sustainable, inclusive, and community-driven (urban) spaces. I want to create a place where everyone feels at home and where humans and our natural surroundings work together, instead of against each other. I believe that (local) stakeholder involvement is one of the keys in doing this.
