The position

For our Sharing Economy team, we are looking for a project lead with 3 to 6 years of experience in research, innovation and/or business development around circular economy and sharing concepts.

You will work on various assignments related to circularity and circular business models, including the sharing and rental economy. This may include: developing a vision and strategy with governments, designing implementation programmes, supporting retailers and producers in experiments, strengthening the innovation ecosystem and developing and coordinating European public-private partnership projects.

This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, conducts strategic discussions and contributes to the realization of innovative solutions in this domain.

Key Responsibilities include:

Project Definition:
Devising, developing and launching innovation initiatives in the field of circular and sharing economy. Both European-supported and privately funded projects.

Project management:
Take a leading role in conceptualizing and managing research, pilot, and demonstration projects. Achieve, share and communicate results. Develop new advisory services for sharing and circularity.

Measuring impact:
Assess the economic, environmental and social impact of innovative circular and collaborative economy services. Developing future scenarios and formulating strategic recommendations for public and private clients.

The candidates we are seeking

You are an ambitious, inquisitive professional with a passion for the circular economy and a strong motivation to make a career within a boutique consultancy that strives for social and economic impact.

Education: Completed master’s degree in business, economics, industrial engineering, industrial design or a related field.
Experience: At least 3 to 6 years of professional experience in the circular sector and demonstrable interest or background in circular business models and the sharing economy.
Languages: Fluency in Dutch and English are essential. Knowledge of other languages is a strong plus.

Writing skills: Strong writing skills are required; both with and without the use of AI. You must have a passion for formulating compelling arguments and turning complex technical concepts into clear and engaging business language.
Soft skills: We expect a high degree of autonomy and proactivity, strong communication skills and the ability to lead discussions and public presentations
