Profile: Kees has been an innovation consultant at Bax and its predecessors for over 20 years. He specialises in the development of policies, strategies and action plans for R&D and innovation, with a focus on tackling societal challenges. With cities, provinces, ministries and European bodies, small and large companies, NGO’s and higher education. Kees brings creativity and writing skills to understand complex social challenges, to question experts, to analyse opportunities and bottlenecks, to develop powerful concepts that are guided through research and development, pilot and demonstration to implementation, start-up, financing and upscaling. Over the past 30 years, Kees has developed substantive knowledge in areas such as circular economy, feedstock transition, climate adaptation, energy transition and digitisation.
