Lotte Bernards

Lotte joined the Bax & Company Dutch Office as an innovation consultant in April 2020.

After completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design at the Technical University of Delft in 2017, she continued her studies at the university with the ‘Strategic Product Design’ Master’s program. Despite what the title suggests, the program focuses on dealing with complex business cases from all kinds of clients and solving them with the help of research and creative tools. Lotte obtained her Master’s Degree in February 2020, with a graduation project on service roadmapping. During her Master’s, Lotte completed an internship at the Dutch head office of L’Oreal, in category management and sales. Instead of being drawn towards commercialism and corporate companies, it revived her love for research & design in a smaller working context. Lotte has also worked as a teaching assistant at the faculty of Industrial Design, guiding Bachelor’s students through their design projects.

Despite a Dutch-focused education, Lotte enjoys working in international groups a lot, where she is drawn towards bridging opinions and dealing with potential cultural differences. In her work, she likes to visualise as much as possible, with the aim of achieving clarity among stakeholders. She also enjoys performing research, to dig towards the core of a problem. She is fluent in Dutch and English.

In her spare time, Lotte expresses her creativity through nail art, drawing, and baking. She also loves spending time outdoors.
